PJ Morton released his live album titled, Gumbo Unplugged in March 2018. This live album is a continuation to his Grammy nominated debut album released in April 2017. The unplugged experience was taped during 2018 Grammy’s weekend in NYC at the Powerstation Studios. This live album features great talents like (singer) BJ the Chicago Kid, (rapper) Lecrae, (band group) The Hamiltones, (singer) Yebba, (musician) Keyon Harrold, and much more. Also featured is his background singers, The Amours, and the The Matt Jones Orchestra directed by Matt Jones.
Talk about an album being brought to life in the most organic way possible. The vocal ability, elite instrumentation showcased with highlighting the feeling and emotion of riveting songs from the album like, “Stickin’ To My Guns”, “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright”, and “How Deep Is Your Love”.
