Singer\/songwriter Avery Sunshine<\/strong> released her third studio album,\u00a0Twenty Sixty Four\u00a0<\/em>on April 21st. Her last studio album,\u00a0The Sun Room\u00a0<\/em>in 2014.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
The first single “Come Do Nothing” opens up the album. “I Just Don’t Know” is a nice, upbeat jazz swing. The lyrics are saying she can’t get over the love she feels. Great piano melody and horn section going into the bridge.\u00a0How the bass and guitar in pocket the entire time in “Kiss And Make It Better” is perfect. Great drum accent as well. “Jump” is a lyrical highlight from the album. Metaphorically great song about find the courage to go for opportunities of endless possibilities of life. Acoustic guitar playing, and a nice piano melody. “Used Car” has a classic vintage soul vibe to it. “Heaven Is Right Here” has a smooth instrumentation.<\/p>\n

The rim shot in “The Ice Cream Song” is so precise. Also, a great acoustic feel. “Everything I’ve Got” has a very Prince sensual vibe with the 80’s V-drumming in the production. The self-titled track “Twenty Sixty Four” has fantastic suddle horn arrangements. It has warm piano chords over the melody as well. Her sweet vocals compliment the instrumentation perfectly. “Prayer Room” is a acoustic ballad with sound lyrics. The last song is called, “Sweet Hour of Prayer (Postlude) a great finish to the album.<\/p>\n
