The 57th annual Grammy Awards, were shown Sunday night February 8th, 2015. The Grammy’s started off the show with a performance from legendary rock group AC/DC. Then, from there the show continued with a lot of misses throughout the show, performance wise. The one that stood out the most, was John Legend’s & Common’s “Glory” performance towards the end. The song was featured on the Selma soundtrack.  Here are some other stand out performances from the night:

Ed Sheeran performs “Thinking Out Loud” with Herbie Hancock, John Mayer, Questlove, and Adam Blackstone.

The 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards - Show

Sam Smith & Mary J. Blige performs “Stay With Me” (Darkchild Version)

These were really the major standouts for the night. Also, the winners in some of these categories deserve huge respect. The Grammy’s really need to consider changing the names of categories for R&B, or what is considered an “R&B” record. Because there’s no way “Drunk In Love” should be in anybody’s R&B category, just saying.

Here are the winners in the R&B Category:

Best Traditional R&B Performance

Robert Glasper Experiment featuring Lalah Hathaway, & Malcolm-Jamal Warner / Jesus Children

Best R&B Performance

Beyonce featuring Jay-Z / Drunk In Love

Best R&B Song

Beyonce featuring Jay-Z / Drunk In Love

Best R&B Album

Toni Braxton & Babyface / Love, Marriage, & Divorce

Congrats to the all winners and nominees who were listed in the categories! Who were your favorite performers of the night?
