The Deele released the hit R&B single “Two Occasions” off of their third studio album, Eyes of a Stranger in 1987. The song reached top 5 on the R&B charts, and top 10 in the pop charts.  Now, it’s so easy to point out the legends, L.A. Reid and Babyface contribution of a phenomenal record. Talented group members like Darnell “Dee” Bristol and Carlos “Satin” Greene that had parts that highlighted how pleasant their voices sounded before Face hits us with those melodic harmonies. This video is quintessential everything you think of about the 80’s. From the androgynous fashions, Jheri Curls, and make-up. This is top shelf of all the cassette tape jams. And we bow at the feet of the songwriting/production duo for capturing the mood and feeling of a solid love record.
