Grammy award winning musician/songwriter/singer D’Angelo and his band The Vanguard performed live on Saturday Night Live on January 31st, 2015. He performed his first single off of Black Messiah “Really Love”, and later in the show performed a song off of the album called “The Charade”. In which, the band was wearing “I Can’t Breathe” and “Black Lives Matter” t-shirts, and also D’Angelo wearing a hoodie to signify the movement of the injustices and police brutality across America.
